“Albergo bellissimo , sembrava di vivere in un luogo antico , hanno un bellissimo ristorante su un parco che affaccia direttamente sulle antiche mura , attraverso la strada e ti godi il fascino delle mura antiche con la loro nave antica . C’è un bar che affaccia direttamente su questo parco e il camino all interno sembra magico . La stanza enorme è pulita , un po datata ma l ho trovata eccellente .”

“Lovely room for a relaxing stay in the New Forest. The food (dinner and breakfast) was standard hotel food—not bad but not great. The dinner was presented in a gourmet style but of average quality.”

“Great location close to Central Train Station and beside the mall. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. A quick taxi to the cruise ship pier. Highly recommend!”

“Al prezzo pagato non si può avere una stanza in cui il bagno è un loculo e mancano servizi essenziali quali phon e frigobar. Il letto era buono, e anche la pulizia era accurata. Ma il water ricavato in uno spazio minuscolo e angusto è assurdo. Colazione appena sufficiente e quasi limitata all'essenziale. Al prezzo di € 170 a notte mi sarei aspettato molto di più. Bocciato assolutamente.”

“Beautiful setting with a upmarket vibe around the complex. Entrance lobby and reception very smart. Staff were helpful. We decided on the cheaper windowless room knowing there was a skylight with natural light. But skylight blind was broken . Room was not cleaned or replenished over the two day stay. Leisure facilities were very good but at £10 per visit per person remember to bare this in mind in price comparisons. Food was reasonable but quite pricey for what it was. All said I would return...

I am an experienced traveller and dont like being treated any differently to anyone else! Whole hotel and the grounds are georgeous though and I enjoyed my time there. “Never stay here in the summer! A lovely hotel with a great spa but sadly the staff were not interested. Our room (6) was boiling hot, far hotter than 2 other hotel rooms we have slept in over this May 26 heatwave. When we raised this at check in and explained that we would not be able to sleep in the room we were given a spare fan that simply moved the hot are around. “It was a very mixed stay, although overall it was positive. The first room we were given was very dirty. The walls in particular were yellow and marked, including hand prints on the walls and mould on the curtains (pictured attached). The room was very hot and the window didn't open - no air conditioning either. It was quite small and cramped. Premier inn would have been a lot better.
